Fiji Netball team captain to the Pacific Cup Series in the Cook Islands, Ana Erenavula is confident the team will deliver exceptional results at the games.

Erenavula said the team has been training very hard in the past few months and despite knowing earlier that they had no funds to take the team across, the girls still trained hard.

However, Erenavula added the girls know that they will have to lift their standard at the Pacific Cup Series to secure a spot at the 2011 World Championships.

Former national captain, Australia based Mere Rabuka arrived into the country last week, something Erenavula said lifted the morale of the team, a timely arrival that coincided with the AFriends of Fiji@ donation of over $30,000 for their airfares to the Cook Islands.

The Fiji Netball team will be meeting up with teams from Samoa, the Cook Islands and Australia at the championship.
