Fiji cannot survive without the tourism industry.
That is the sentiment of Brian Townsend, manager for the newly refurbished multimillion dollar project at the former Tradewinds Hotel, which was reopened as the Novotel Lami Bay.
Townsend said the natural beauty in Fiji should be utilized to its potential.
The Tradewinds Hotel was officially taken over by Hotel franchise Accor who renamed the hotel as Novotel Lami Bay, and will officially open in one month's time.
