"We need to start well and show our opponents that we are in control."
Those are the words of Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula ahead of the opening game of the IRB 7s series in Dubai tomorrow.
Tanivula said that from past experiences one of the major concerns is the way they approach their opposition when they allow them to be in control.
Fiji is in Pool D and will have to beat England, France and Portugal to secure a quarter final spot with either the winner or runner up from Pool C which has South Africa, Australia, Scotland and Russia.
Fiji will kick off the Dubai 7s on Friday at 6.20pm with Portugal.
Fiji's second match will be against France at 9.56pm and in the last pool match, Fiji will take on England at 3.30am on Saturday.
