Fiji go down 2-1 to PNG in their second match of the U17 OFC playoff at North Harbour Stadium in NZ.

Fiji started off well with Altaaf Sahib finding the back of the net in the 21st minute through a long range free-kick.

PNG replied 14 minutes later with a spectacular from their captain Alwin Komolong.

Both teams were reduced to 10 men after PNG goalkeeper Charles Lepani and Fiji captain Josaia Masiwini were sent off in the 38th minute of the first half for a scuffle.

Jacob Sabua scored PNG's winner as the Fiji team could not capitalize on the chances they received.

Defending champions New Zealand is currently leading Vanuatu 4-1.
