World renowned rugby commentator Nigel Starmer-Smith said the Digicel Fiji Sevens team will upset fans at home and is highly likely to be relegated to the bowl this weekend.

After a dismal performance last week Starmer-Smith said he is certain this is not the strongest of sides that Fiji could put out and it's still more than strong enough to be competitive.

Starmer-Smith added Dere will have to draw a line after this weekend and bring back his original Gold Coast winning squad for the Wellington Sevens.

Meanwhile, despite losing the Dubai 7s final last week All Blacks Sevens team coach Gordon Tietjens said his side is preparing for a backlash this Weekend.

Fiji will play England at 10.22pm this Saturday in its first match and will take on Scotland at 1.28am Sunday while the last pool match is against New Zealand at 5.58am Sunday.
