The Vodafone Fiji 7s team stormed into the cup quarter finals of the Scotland 7s after thrashing Wales 45 - nil.
Fiji’s defensive structure stood out in the match and they scored seven unanswered tries to claim victory.
Speedster Samisoni Viriviri continued his fine performance scoring two early tries while, Viliame Mata, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou and Donasio Ratubuli all scored a try each.
Fiji led 26 - nil at halftime.
Meanwhile, Fiji will meet either Canada or England in the second semifinal at 11.42pm.
