With two hours remaining for the Dubai 7's, USA Sevens head coach Mike Friday said eventhough New Zealand may be the most successful sevens team in history Fiji is the team to beat in the 2014/2015 HSBC Sevens Series.

Friday added that Fiji is leading the way this year and setting the bar high which is a big challenge for other big teams to raise their game.

The former England coach believes the Dubai 7's is the tournament for the true rugby purist and a true rugby festival because rugby is at the centre of everything.

He stressed that Fiji is still the favourites at the moment because of the depth of talent available in the team.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team takes on France in their first pool match at 6.44pm.

They will later meet Brazil at 9.44pm.

Their last pool match is against Argentina at 1.52am tomorrow.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are at 1.55am Sunday while the Cup final kicks off at 3.42am.
