“It is great to have an International 7's at the home of 7's rugby”.
Those were the words of former, New Zealand 7's captain, Eric Rush who is the Chief Guest at the launch of the Uprising International 7's this afternoon.
Rush also had a timely reminder for overseas teams who will be taking part in this tournament that this is the toughest competition.
He added that a NZ side will also be coming in force to stamp their mark in the Uprising International 7's.
The Uprising International 7's will be held at the TFL Stadium on the 20th and 21st of January.
