Digicel Fiji Sevens playmaker Jone Daunivucu believes Fiji has the depth to do well in Dubai and should give their best in all their pool games, starting with Georgia as all teams are taking their best for the World Cup.
Daunivucu who is earmarked to call the shots in the backline after William Ryder pulled out said New Zealand coach Gordon Tietgens has named a strong side and he is looking forward to meeting the three Fijians in the team.
The Vuaki lad who was part of the team which won the Melrose Cup in 2005, said despite being a young team, the Fijian side has both experience from the overseas players and the talent from the young local players.
The Digicel Fiji Sevens replacement players, rugby league convert Waisale Suka and Orisi Sareki will leave the country tomorrow to join the other players have already arrived in Dubai.
Overseas based players Napolioni Nalaga and Apolosi Satala are expected to join the team later today.
The Digicel Fiji Sevens team meets Georgia in their first pool game at 4:16am on Friday at 8:50 pm they meet USA and in their last pool game at 2:20am the meet France on Saturday.
