The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has lost 36-14 to New Zealand in the semi-final of the Sydney 7s.
New Zealand was winning 19-7 at half time.

Sevuloni Mocenacagi was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle on a New Zealand player in the first half while Meli Derenalagi was shown a yellow card in the second half.
Fiji’s tries were scored by Jerry Tuwai and Alasio Naduva while Vilimoni Koroi and Kurt Baker scored two tries while Tone Ng Shiu and Scott Gregory scored a try each for New Zeland.

Fiji will now play England at 9.29 tonight in the Bronze Final.
Meanwhile, USA beat England 14-7 in the second semi-final and will play New Zealand.
