The Fiji Under-23 soccer team will be entering the semi final of the OFC Men’s Olympic Qualifier today against Papua New Guinea as favorites.

Fiji came through pool play undefeated and earning a morale boosting 2-1 victory over Vanuatu on Wednesday.

Captain and mid fielder Esava Naqeleca, is also second in the golden boot race with four goals and defender Archie Watkins have made them key figures for coach Imdad Ali.

Most of Fiji’s threatening corners and free kicks are delivered expertly by Misaele Draunibaka.
 
Fiji takes on PNG at 12pm while in the second semi final hosts New Zealand will meet Vanuatu at 3pm.
