Defending Japan 7s champions Australia defeated the Digicel Fiji 7s team 21-12 in the Cup quarterfinal.

There was no formation in our attacks and defense while support play was lacking.

Passes were not connecting, players look like they were tired as they made unnecessary passes which resulted in two of Australia's tries.

Fiji made a sluggish start and failed to settle in the game.

Emosi Mulevoro and Benito Eremasi scored for Fiji while Lewis Holland scored twice for the Australians along with Will Miller.

Fiji will now meet the USA in the Plate quarterfinal at 4:24pm
