Fiji faces tough road to USA 7s
The Iliesa Tanivula coached side is in Pool B with Canada, host USA and South Africa.
It is the only pool in the two day tournament which has three teams that reached the quarterfinals of the New Zealand 7's pooled together.
Fiji defeated South Africa in the quarter finals while Canada lost to England.
USA at home last year reached the semifinal of the cup competition and they are expected to again be strong in front of their home crowd.
Tanivula believes this will test the strength of his players as they want to win their second tournament in the IRB 7's series this season.
Meanwhile, the side faces a major setback ahead of the USA 7's this weekend.
Digicel Fiji 7's winger Waisale Beci is ruled out of the USA 7's this weekend.
Beci injured his shoulder in the semifinal win against England and was replaced in the final by his Police team mate Josefa Bole.
Fiji's first game is against USA at 8:44am on Sunday, their second pool game is against Canada at 11:50am and their last pool game is against South Africa at 4:14pm.
