Fiji after losing 28-7 to Australia in the cup quarterfinal came back strongly to beat Wales scoring a total of 6 tries.
Captain Emosi Vucago scored two tries while Watisoni Votu, Jiuta Lutumailagi, William Ryder and Niumaia Cakacaka scoring a try each.
Fiji led 17-nil at halftime.
They will play South Africa in the plate final at 3.21pm.
In the first cup semifinal, New Zealand survived a strong Kenya outfit winning 21-7.
