Barring any upset Fiji is expected to play New Zealand in the Cup final of the Dubai 7s this weekend.

The two teams will not clash before the Cup final if they top their respective pools and win their quarter-final and semifinal matches.

The Digicel Fiji 7s team is expected to meet either Australia or France in the Cup quarters and we may face defending champions England, Samoa or South Africa in the Cup semis.

Fiji will open its Dubai 7s campaign against Spain at 6.50pm this Friday and will meet Scotland at 10.36pm. 

Fiji’s last pool match will be against Kenya at 3.58am on Saturday.

Cup quarterfinals start 7.50pm on Saturday with the cup semifinals to start 2.07am on Sunday. 

The Cup final will be played 5.33am on Sunday.
