Foreign Minister, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola confirmed that the Indian government has given prime property to Fiji valued at more than 100 million dollars in Delhi in exchange for the state land lot valued at 1.5 million dollars in Suva.

While answering SODELPA parliamentarian, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua’s question, Ratu Inoke clarified that the land to be given for the Indian High Commission in Suva is not situated at Thurston Garden as claimed by Matanitobua.

When questioned by SODELPA parliamentarian, Ratu Viliame Tagivetaua on whether consultations were held with the people of Suvavou, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola clarified that the land in Suva belongs to the state.
