The Vodafone Fiji 7's team has won their first pool game of the England 7s after edging Argentina 24-19.

The national side were trailing 12-0 in the 4th minute of the first half before Samisoni Viriviri and Savenacawa Rawaca equalized the scores at half time.

Viriviri and Rawaca again scored a try each in the second half to seal the victory for Fiji.

Lanky forward and vice-captain Isake Katonibau was sent out after injuring himself. Katonibau is in doubt if he will continue playing for the rest of the tournament.

Fiji’s second pool game will be against Samoa at 12.12am tomorrow and Canada at 3.18am.

The cup quarters start at 9.28pm tomorrow, the cup semis are at 1.18am Monday while the cup final is at 4.27am Monday.
