Fiji has beaten Japan 22-8 in its first match of the Pacific Nations Cup match at Churchill Park.

This is a perfect start for the Flying Fijians in the competition as they have registered a bonus point win.

Fiji's first try was scored in the first few seconds of the match by wing, Sireli Bobo while Api Naikatini scored the second try in the 49th minute.

Wing, Aisea Natoga scored the third try for Fiji which was setup by Nikola Matawalu.

Center, Nemani Nadolo sealed things for Fiji in the dying stages of the match with a try in the corner. 

The match was played under heavy conditions as it was raining heavily in Lautoka.

Fiji's next match will be against Canada next Wednesday.
