A great Fiji day gift was given to Senior citizen homes and the CWM Hospital Board of Visitors today where they received a total of $23,577 from the Fiji National Provident Fund as part of the Fund's Hibiscus fundraising.
The Home of Compassion with 22 residents, Father Law Home with the same number of residents and the Old People's Home with 49 residents received $5,000 each while the CWM Hospital Board of Visitors received $8,577.
Home of Compassion Administrator, Sister Emi Frances Oh said the money will be put to good use.
Father Law Home Administrative Officer, Veronica Mulu said they welcome any type of contribution to help with the running of the Home.
Old People's Home and CWM Hospital Board of Visitors Secretary Marica Hallacy said their money will be put into a walk way for the Home and the general maintenance of the Home in Samabula and at the CWM Hospital.
