Fiji Team was crowned the overall champions in Junior Pacific Championship category after the Oceania Weightlifting Championship ended last night at the Yat Sen Secondary School Hall in Flagstaff.

Manueli Tulo and Maria Liku were our stars winning four gold medals each in the Oceania and South Pacific categories while few other lifters settled for the silver and bronze medals.

Fiji Weightlifting President Atma Maharaj said even the junior weightlifters did wonders in the three day championship.
