With a month to go, Fiji Cricket coach Steve Jenkin is adamant the team is ready to take on their Pacific Island opponents in the Pacific Games.

Jenkin said they were able to iron out their phases in the game after a one week visit from the New Caledonia team and it was an excellent experience for them.

Only four countries including Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea will take part in cricket.

Cricket will run from August 29th to September 2nd at the Games in Noumea.
