Top favorites, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will take on Wales in the next hour in the opening match of the Japan 7s.

Having won the Cup at Las Vegas and Hong Kong Sevens, Fiji are certainly the team to beat.

Fiji has been rated as favourites in Pool A, where they will take on England, Wales and Hong Kong.

Coach Ben Ryan said all the factors including the weather has been taken into account as Fiji continues on its quest to win the World Rugby 7s series and get an automatic qualification to next year’s Rio Olympics.

Fiji will play Wales in its first pool match at 1pm today.

We then take on Hong Kong at 4.18pm and the final pool match is against England at 8.30 tonight.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 2.20pm tomorrow, the Cup semis kick off at 6.22pm while the Japan 7s Cup final starts at 9pm tomorrow.
