The Digicel Fiji 7s team has qualified for the Cup quarter finals of the Dubai 7s after beating Canada 26-19 in their second pool match.
Despite a game left in pool play Fiji joins England as the top two teams from pool C to proceed through the quarters.
Poor defence nearly cost them the match with Canada leading 19-14 with two minutes to full time.
Tries from Jona Tuitoga and a last minute brilliance from Benito Masilevu was enough for Fiji to claim victory.
Fiji led 14-7 at halftime with tries two Waisea Nacuqu and Samisoni Viriviri.
Meanwhile in the first pool match Fiji came back strongly in the second half scoring five unanswered tries to beat USA 36 - 7.
Fiji will take on England in their last pool match at 5.02am.
