Newly appointed Flying Fijians coach John McKee said he will put in all his effort to improve Fiji’s position on the IRB World Rankings.
The Flying Fijians are currently placed 11th.
McKee believes the Flying Fijians can be very competitive against the top teams like Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa.
He said that he will be looking for a natural and direct game strategy which suites Fijian players.
McKee confirmed that local players will be marching into camp in two weeks time while the overseas based players will join the squad at the end of this month.
The Flying Fijians will take on the Cook Islands on the 28th of next month in the qualifying match for next year’s Rugby World Cup.
