With Air Pacific resuming it's Suva to Auckland service, calls have been made for Fiji to consider thinking about the idea that it is also co-hosting the Rugby World Cup next year.
This is the advice from Auckland Mayor John Banks who said the resumption of this service and the fact that the World Cup venue just less than 3 hours away from Fiji, the management of Air Pacific should try their best to entice rugby fans and teams fly to Fiji and spend a short break before the tournament starts.
Banks added the focus of the sporting world is set to shift to New Zealand next year and Air Pacific should take full advantage of this fact and promote Fiji to the world.
