Fijian born and new Waratahs recruit Taqele Nayaravoro is poised to make a sudden Super Rugby debut against the Lions this Sunday after being named on the New South Wales Waratahs bench.

The former Suva Grammar School student was selected by Michael Cheika after only signing his contract last week and turning out in one club game for Parramatta at the weekend.

Naiyaravoro’s two-tries last week convinced the NSW coach to throw the big Fijian wing on the end of his bench.

The 22 year old said this will be unforgettable moment for him.

Naiyaravoro added that Wallabies stars Kurtley Beale and Israel Folau have been helping him a lot during training.

The Waratahs will host the Lions at 6.05pm this Sunday while the Hurricanes take on the Highlanders at 7.35 tonight.
