The Vodafone Fiji 7s started their Cape Town 7s campaign well after defeating Scotland 34-19 in their first pool match.

The national side scored six tries as they showed their offloading skills and supporting plays.

Robust winger Savenaca Rawaca and lanky forward Jasa Veremalua scored two tries each while the other tries was scored by Emosi Mulevoro and Vatemo Ravouvou.

Making his comeback into the World Sevens Series, Nadroga captain Nemani Nagusa played well as he muscled his way through some of the strong Scottish defence.

Fiji will now play Russia at 1.20am tomorrow and the final pool match against Argentina will be at 5.03am tomorrow.

The Cup quarter finals will start at 11.04pm tomorrow, the Cup semis start at 3.34am Monday while the Cup final will kick off at 6.30am Monday.
