The Vodafone Fiji 7s team survived an early scare to beat Brazil 36-5 in their second pool match of the Dubai 7s tournament.
Fiji scored first in the match through halfback Vatemo Ravouvou as Brazil looked more composed and replied with a try two minutes from the end of the first half.
Robusting Savenaca Rawaca then outpaced the Brazilian defense to score one of his two tries after some good work at the breakdown from Semi Kunatani.
The Osea Kolinisau captained side then regrouped in the second half scoring four unanswered tries to Rawaca, Nasoni Roko, Eminoni Nasilasila and Jasa Veremalua.
The first line up that took on Brazil in the second pool match include Apisai Domolailai, Semi Kunatani and Nasoni Roko in the forwards while Vatemo Ravouvou, Osea Kolinisau, Savenaca Rawaca and Apisai Domolailai make up the backline.
Fiji’s last pool match will be against Argentina at 1.52am.
