Fiji is currently 11th at the Arafura Games in Australia after bagging 1 gold and 2 silver medals.

Paralympian Iliesa Delana took Fiji's first gold medal in the high jump after he jumped 1.71 meters yesterday afternoon while swimmer Manasa Marasiale bagged Fiji's first silver medal yesterday in the 50 meters butterfly event while another silver medal was bagged by Necani Ravutu in the 800 meters ambulant track event.

Fiji has two medal prospects in the weightlifting with Manueli Tulo and Joe Vueti expected to take part this afternoon.

At the moment, we are tied with the Marshall Islands while New Caledonia leads the medal tally with 55 medals.

The Arafura Games will be held till this Saturday, the 16th.
