The Fiji booth at the Shanghai Expo in China has left visitors amazed with what a small island nation has to offer to the world’s fastest growing economy.
Speaking to Fijivillage from Shanghai, Tourism Fiji CEO Josefa Tuamoto said Fiji is regarded as a dream destination by Chinese visitors.
Tuamoto also added that there are also talks of increasing flights between Fiji and Hong Kong, something which Air Pacific is currently analyzing.
Meanwhile, some investors had to be turned away due to the large number of potential investors who turned up at the seminar organised by the Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau at the Shanghai Expo in China yesterday.
Attorney General and Minister for Trade Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said several investors have registered their interest to come to Fiji and follow up on the opportunities on offer in Fiji.
