The Fijiana National women's team has pulled out from the Hong Kong 7s tournament despite being drawn in Pool B with France and Kazakhstan.
Fiji Womens Rugby Union president Vela Naucu-kidi said they have yet to inform the Hong Kong 7s organisers regarding their stance.
Naucu-kidi said because of the financial constraints they had to pull out but it would not prevent them from continuing their goal of playing at next year's Rugby World Cup 7s in Dubai.
