The Fiji Weightlifting Association is trying its best to ensure that two lifters qualify for the London Olympics.

Fiji lifters will take part in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Samoa which will be held in May.

If Fiji were to earn the two places, then in the male category will be taken up by Manueli Tulo while Maria Liku also has a good chance to qualify from the womens division.

Tulo is currently training in Noumea and will be joined by Liku this week.
