Many people in different parts of Fiji have a reason to smile and celebrate after organisations representing them received assistance from the Fiji Water Foundation on its 2nd Anniversary today.
The Foundation today gave $240,000 for 14 development projects and the Director External Affairs for Fiji Water, David Roth said that despite the economic downturn in Fiji and overseas, they are committed to the projects.
He said they are helping various organisations to go ahead with their projects to build a partnership.
The Fiji Water Foundation has so far funded over $1,400,000 in projects directly impacting more than 70,000 people in 13 of Fiji's 14 provinces since its establishment in 2007.
Apart from celebrating its 2nd Anniversary today, Fiji Water Foundation also launched its website:- www.fijiwaterfoundation.org through which organisations will be able to apply for grant for their projects.
