The Fiji Warriors has won its first game in the Pacific Rugby cup beating Brumby Runners 16-3 last night.

The lone try of the match was scored by Josateki Nasilisili through an intercept.

Playing in wet conditions did not help both teams as Warriors No.10 Jonetani Ralulu managed just one of his four attempts in the first half.

The second half started with more points, Ralulu kicking another penalty to give his side breathing room.

The highlight of the second half was seeing a heavily-strapped Jerry Yanuyanutawa rampaging through his countrymen, galloping 50 meters to be stopped just outside his 22.

Fiji Warriors third match is against Junior Waratahs next Monday.
