The Fiji Warriors have won the Pacific Rugby Cup for the fifth consecutive year.

This is after the International Rugby Board cancelled the Pacific leg of the PRC scheduled for October.

The Fiji Warriors finished the Australian and New Zealand legs earlier this year on 14 points - ahead of Samoa A, Japan A and Tonga A.

The IRB stated the reason for cancelling the PRC is to enable Fiji, Samoa and Tonga maximize their preparations for the November Test programme.

In November Fiji will play Portugal, Italy and Romania.

Samoa will take on Ireland, the French Barbarians and Georgia while Tonga face Romania, France and Wales.

Apart from the PRC the Flying Fijians also won the Pacific Nations cup.
