Fiji Warriors prepare for hectic schedule
Coach Inoke Male and most of his players have not tasted the new PRC format where teams will play two games in a space of three or four days.
To make this challenge tougher for Male is the fact that only two players from his 30 member squad, Setefano Somoca and Wise Daveta are members of the Flying Fijians from last year’s RWC.
Manager, Ratu Isei Rayawa said training has been based on what they expect to face in Australia and New Zealand.
The Fiji Warriors will start their campaign against Queensland A on the 26th of this month followed by the game with Brumby Runners on the 29th.
They will play the Junior Waratahs on the 5th of March, the Crusaders Knights on the 9th, the game against the Blues Development on the 13th and the last outing with the Chiefs Development on the 17th of March.
