Defending Champions of the Pacific Rugby cup, the Fiji Warriors is out to start their campaign on a high note in Ballymore tonight against Queensland Reds.

Laced with Flying Fijian reps that toured Europe last year with the like of Jimilailai Naikadawa, Seveci Taka, Setefano Samoca and Vilimae Veikoso, the side looks to be the favorite on paper for the match tonight.

Coach, Samu Domoni Junior will also use this match to see the performance of other local based players who can also force their way in the Fiji team for the rugby world cup this year.

Players like captain Rupeni Nasiga, flyhalf Jonetani Ralulu, halfback, Wise Vatuvoka and vice captain, Paula Karatu are the other players that have been in impressive form in provincial rugby last year.

The match between Fiji Warriors and Queensland Reds kicks off at 9.30 tonight.
