The Fiji Warriors 15's rugby team faces a must win situation against Samoa A this afternoon to retain the Pacific Rugby Cup title for the 3rd year in a row.

After failing to score a try in the 21-14 win against Tonga A last Saturday, the Samu Domoni Jnr coached side face a Samoa team which was the only Pacific team that recorded a win against the NZ development Chiefs franchise team.

For the match against Tonga A, Fiji had to rely on the boots of Dan Rawaqa who kicked 6 penalties while Jonetani Ralulu added another.

Samoa A now sit one point clear of Fiji Warriors on 14 points in the race on who will be crowned champions of the new look Pacific Rugby Cup.

The Fiji Warriors tackle Samoa A at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 4.30pm this afternoon.
