The Air Pacific Fiji Warriors have created history in winning the Pacific Rugby Cup title for the first time in Apia yesterday beating the Upolu Samoa 19-7.

It was the Warriors first ever win since the PRC started in 2006 and it was even sweeter for the Ifereimi Tawake coached side as they avenged their early 23-21 defeated to the Upolu Samoa at Churchill park in Lautoka.

Tawake who also coached the Warriors when they last played the final in 2006 map out a game plan that caught the host by surprise from the opening whistle.

The Fiji Warriors led Upolu Samoa 7-nil at halftime and went on win win the PRC title 19-7.
