The Vodafone Fiji U20 soccer team won their first international friendly match against Malaysia U22 by 1 nil in Kuala Lumpur last night.
Defender Antonio Tuivuna scored the winning goal against the more experienced opponent in their build-up match.
Tuivuna, who is known for his goal scoring front set piece play, pounced on a corner to nod home for the only goal of the match.
Fiji plays the Malaysia U19 side tomorrow.
The tour is a build-up for the Under 20 Wold Cup to be played in New Zealand from the 30th of May.
Fiji is pooled with Germany, Honduras and Uzbekistan.
