The national Under 20 rugby side will have more depth in the forwards this year compared to last year.

Coach Viliame Gadolo said they have six overseas based players and three of them play in the forwards so it will improve their performance in next week's Junior Rugby world cup in France.

Meanwhile, one of the three Co-Captains Esikia Macu said the side will be in for a big challenge as they are pooled with three of the world's best teams.


Macu a former Lelean Memorial School student is one of the five players who are going for their second Junior World Cup which includes Elia Ratuceva, France based Sevanaia Galala, Jimilai Rokoduru and Sunia Tamani.

Macu, Galala and former Queen Victoria School halfback Emori Waqa are the teams Co-Captains.

The side will leave for France next Monday.
