The Fiji U-20 15's rugby team has finished in the 8th spot at the Junior World Championship in Argentina after losing to Wales 39 15 in the 7th and 8th place play off this morning.

Fiji enjoyed a dream start as centre Navitalai Ratulevu touched down in the first minute for a 7-nil lead.

Wales then went into the half time break with a slender 12 10 lead at half time before Fiji crossed for their second try of the match through Maritino Nemani Jnr in the second half.

Even with their second loss to Wales, having lost 31 3 in the pool stages earlier in the Tournament, Fiji return home with their best ever finish in a Junior World Championship after previously finishing 14th in 2008 and 12th last year.

Captain, Severo Domoni said they could have beaten Wales but they just made some silly mistakes and decisions which cost them a lot in the end.
