The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 rugby side will now have to win the 11th place play off at the Junior World Championship against Italy to avoid relegation.
This follows the side’s dismal performance against Argentina yesterday in the 9th position playoff where Fiji lost 12-38.
If Fiji fails to win against Italy then they will not feature in next year’s championship.
Yesterday the Junior Flying Fijians conceded another yellow card and penalty try.
For the past four matches Fiji have copped 7 yellow cards and 7 penalty tries.
Fiji will play Italy at 12:35pm this Friday.
Meanwhile, England and South Africa will play in the final of the competition.
South Africa defeated the hosts New Zealand 32-25 in one semifinal while defending champions, England thrashed Ireland 42-15.
