The Fiji Under-20 side suffered their second defeat at the Junior World Championships in Japan yesterday after they lost to France by 48-25.

The Osea Umu side had already lost to South Africa in their first match by 36-10 and have a slim chance of advancing into the playoffs with a game against Italy at hand.

South Africa still lead the Pool C points table on 10 points, in second place is France on 7 and Fiji and Italy are yet to record a score.

The final round of pool matches will be played on Saturday.
