Excitement and confidence is building in the Vodafone Fiji Under 20 soccer team camp as they now try to create history again by qualifying to the round 16 of the FIFA Under 20 World Cup.
Speaking to Fijivillage from New Zealand, Fiji’s Technical Advisor, Ravinesh Kumar says it’s hard to explain the emotion after getting the 3-nil win over Honduras.
He says the players stuck to the game plan and delivered above expectations.
Fiji now needs to win against Uzbekistan to qualify for the round of 16. A draw will even take us through to the eliminations if Germany beats Honduras in its last group match.
Fiji will play Uzbekistan at 2pm tomorrow.
