The Fiji U-19 team is on track in their goal to win the first FORU tournament after they recorded the highest score of the competition yesterday thumping Tahiti 99-3.

The Iosefo Bele coached side scored 15 tries to nil with Suva Grammar winger, Ilaitia Leka scoring four tries while full-back, Sakiusa Malai and captain Eroni Ravaga each contributing two tries each while the rest came from their team mates.

In other matches, PNG thumped Vanuatu 47-0 and Tonga edged Samoa by 13-10.

Competition continues on Tuesday where Fiji meet Tonga, Samoa take on PNG and Vanuatu meet Tahiti.
