There is no planned structure in place to keep our Secondary school rugby players in competitive rugby after they leave school.
After two matches against the Australia schoolboys, the question now is how to keep the momentum going for our Under 18 rugby players.
Fiji Secondary schools rugby association President, Paula Motu said they go up to Under 19 and after that, they leave it to provincial clubs and the Fiji Rugby Union to take up the role of nurturing these boys.
Fiji Rugby Union is expected to comment on the issue later today.
Meanwhile, good news for our senior secondary school rugby players.
There is now confirmation that the Fiji Under 18 rugby team will be going on a tour to Australia in September next year.
Motu confirmed that the Fiji Under 18 team is expected to play against the Australia, New Zealand and South Africa schoolboys next year in the land down under.
The Fiji Under 18 team lost to the Australian Schoolboys by 29-12 while the Fiji President's team beat the Australian schoolboys
18-9.
Setareki Koroitamana, Apolosi Ranawai, Emosi Bure and Vincent Fisher were some of the players who stood out in the two match series.
