Fiji U17 favorites against PNG
Fiji thrashed American Samoa 9-0 yesterday and the Fijians now will go into the second match with more confidence.
Fiji has three points in bag and the win against Papua New Guinea will put us in a good position to play in the finals.
The Fiji Football Association has already assured players of bonuses should the team reach the final.
Speaking from New Zealand, Coach Hussein Sahib praised his boys and dedicated the win back home to all the fans.
However, Sahib said the job is not over.
Fiji takes on Papua New Guinea tomorrow at 1.30pm.
Meanwhile, in Group B matches New Caledonia lost 2-1 to Solomon Islands while Tahiti thrashed Tonga 8-0.
Defending champions New Zealand have a bye first up and will not begin the defense of their crown until facing Vanuatu tomorrow while Cook Islands also have a bye before meeting New Caledonia on Tuesday.
