Fiji To Meet Samoa In Cup Quarters
Fiji started the Dubai 7s tournament well after beating USA 47-12 in their opening pool match. But they struggled against Portugal and just managed to score two tries to win the match by 12-0.
Waisale Serevi's team was no match to England and went down 5-28.
Team manager Jope Tuivanuavou said the players just didn't click in the last pool match.
England coach Ben Ryan said they went into the match against Fiji with confidence and knowing they will win.
In the Dubai 7s Cup quarterfinals today, New Zealand plays Kenya at 7:08pm, then England take on Argentina at 7:30pm.
Fiji will meet Samoa at 7:52pm while the last Cup quarterfinal will be played between South Africa and Australia at 8:14pm.
The semifinals will be played tomorrow morning at 2:20am, with the final at 4:34am tomorrow.
