The strike out application filed by Fiji Times lawyer John Apted was called for mention in the chambers today.
Fiji Times lawyer Jon Apted said the strike out application was filed weeks ago and the case has been adjourned till 8th July.
This strike out application is against the defamation claim by the Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Pal Chaudhry with regards to the evasion of tax stories.
Meanwhile, Chaudhry's lawyer G.P Lala said they have sued eight people in relation to the case and one of them who is abroad will return to the country on 9th May.
